How To Prepare Your Child For Their Orthodontist Visit
Taking your child to visit the orthodontist for the first time is a big step. It means they are growing and developing – this is something to celebrate! Here are some tips on how to help get them excited about this milestone:
Fill Them In
Speak highly about all things dentistry! This will help your kiddo associate positive feelings toward their first visit.
Stay Positive
Make brushing a fun part of their daily routine by playing their favorite two-minute song while you brush and floss together.
Bring Something Familiar
Time to break out the crayons! Draw a picture of your smile with your child. Don’t forget the teeth - 10 on top, 10 on the bottom!
